The Ontario Agricultural Hall of Fame Association was consolidated in 1979 as a non-profit association under the Corporations Act of Ontario. It is located at Country Heritage Park in Milton, Ontario. The Hall of Fame opened on June 1, 1980 with the selection of nine pioneer agriculturists who represented more than 100 years of united efforts and enthusiasm in forming a better agriculture for the province. Its mission is to recognize, record and retain the contributions made by leaders to the progress and evolution of Ontario's agriculture and the agri-food industry.
